The warehouse began a much-needed update this morning and started replacing shelving and storage in an effort
to improve efficiency.
This project was scheduled to take place the Monday before Thanksgiving because it's historically a rather slow week. However, the contractors contacted us yesterday afternoon with a scheduling conflict and our only options were
today or mid-December;obviously December was out of the question. Our deepest apologies for the lack of advance notice.
The good news is that the updates are being made to improve the quality of the shipping process to better serve you and your
clients.
The bad news is that no shipments can be processed or shipped during this project.
This project involves pulling all current stock to remove the old shelves, setting up the new racks, and lastly, restocking all
the products. It is quite the task and there is a possibility they may not finish today and plan to be finished tomorrow so we can resume processing orders tomorrow afternoon.
We sincerely apologize for the delays. No one knows the frustration caused by delayed shipments more than those of us at the corporate
headquarters. Please know that we would not make this update if we did not believe it is for the greater good in the long run. The decision to do this now was the best option compared to the Holiday or Valentine season and means that all should be smooth sailing during our busiest months that are just around the corner.
We will
keep you updated on the status of this delay.
Many thanks in advance for your patience and understanding.
